The Chow ring and cohomology of \(BPGL_n\)

The Chow ring and cohomology of (BPGLn), the classifying stack/space of the projective linear group (GLn), give rise to characteristic classes of Brauer-Severi varieties, i.e., (PGLn) torsors, which play an important role in the study of Brauer groups. However, the Chow ring and cohomology ring of (BPGLn) are far from fully determined. In this talk I will introduce some recent results as well as work in progress on this topic.
