Correlation functions in integrable gauge theories

In the last two decades integrability has found an unexpected application to describe the planar limit of conformal, higher dimensional gauge theories. The most outstanding example is that of the supersymmetric N=4 gauge theory in four dimension, known to be dual to string theory on AdS5 x S5 background. In this talk I will explain how the computation of correlation functions of gauge-invariant operators can be done by using a geometrical decomposition in terms of non-local form factors, and give a few exemples of problems that are left to solve.
